I have no idea what to write here yet...
This site is just a copy of one I made a year ago, which wasn't ever really touched. I want to change that now, but I dont have anything to put here yet. I imagine that slowly there will appear writings about the things that interest me: Literature, pipe smoking, Joanna Newsom, Tolkien, revolution, small-scale internet, nostalgia and so on...
I created this site because I want to cultivate a certain kind of feeling I get sometimes. It's a sort of inspiration mixed with longing for a different time/world. I can't be the only one feeling this, and I hope that I will finde other that feel it too. It's an admiration for the lived myth of the middle ages, of ancient chinese philosphy, of Tibetan buddhism, of the intellectual pubs of early 1900s England, of the revolutionary attitude of the 60s, of the internet of the 90s/00s, of nostalgia, of symbols, of art.
I also hope to use this site to further the ideals I think deserve to be furthered, and to possibly meet others who would like to further the same ideals. If you stumbled across this, you're welcome to stick around. I don't know how often I'll be updating it. Hopefully sometimes ! I don't wanna fall back into the hole which I'm attempting to climb out of.
